HOW LONG WP TAKES

Hi,

I was working for the German shipping company in Turkey and got job offer from its' UK office to be responsible of the Turkish market. It's been 4 weeks after they applied for the work permit but it is still in progress. Is it normal to take that long? Is there any way to learn the developmets?

it will take between 1 week to 12weeks - depends on how much additional info is being requested by WP team.

though it usually takes 5-10 days unless more information or investigation is required. So it really depends on the application, company (if they have applied for WP before, size of the company etc...)

Is there any chance to make the procedures faster? What if I get refused can my employer apply again?

It is really stressful to wait for WP... Every documents I found from the internet say that it normally takes max 3 weeks but its' been 5 weeks since my employer applied... As it is like intra company transfer it should not have take that long I am worried about my employer will change their mind and hire someone who is British

the best thing is to contact the WP team (thru your employer as they have direct access (they were the ones who applied for the WP).

The quoted 3 weeks you mentioned is a typical time frame but everything depends on the details that the WP requires and the info provided by your employer...
