Applying for FLR(IED) - Outside UK

Hi,

My new employer has applied my Work Permit only couple of days before. I need to go to India on 10th March on a family emergency, Can i apply FLR(IED) from India or is it not possible? If i apply FLR from India what are the additional docs i may need?

I will collect the WP if i get that approved before going or would request the employer to post it to me.

Pls advise at the earliest.
