read urgently regarding home office

hi good day i was on a student visa in 2002 which expire 30 sept 02 i got married in august 2002 before my leave run out however i had some problem so i made my flrm application in april 2003 that made me six months overstay up to this day i have not get a dicision from the home office my mp wrote to the home office a month ago and they now aking me for document before they can make a dicision the document they want is like bills etc. what is likely to happend will they refuse me why they ask for documents thank you please response

Can you tell where you got the letter from Home Office? Is it enforcement directorate or Immigration nationality directorate??
