Is it true that if somebody has been issued a family visit visa (let's assume it's to visit their spouse, I know those are rarely granted but..) they can't apply for the spouse visa until those six months are up? Or could they apply after less time, provided they had actually left the UK, even if the visit visa was still valid and in-date?
Also would a FVV refusal for lack of evidence of motivation to return, have no affect on a spouse visa outcome? Since motivation to return isn't an issue with settlement visas. Or would it still be looked upon badly?
