It is getting more and more difficult to travel internationally these days with children who are included on their parent's passports. Some countries, like the USA, require all children to have their own passports. More and more countries are adopting this practise and pretty soon the concept of including children in parent's passports will be a thing of the past.asimzia wrote:What i am thinking is, actually it took me a week to get this whole endorsement process done, definately i will have my daughter new passport soon.
My question is, Is there any possibility of getting my daughter visa (as a dependant) on the same passport as my wife's one as she has already got the student visa till 2009.
Can i call home office and ask for further assistance in this scenario.
Thanks.

As far as I know the Home Office will only issue a visa for your daughter if she has her own passport. And remember, if you daughter does not get her own visa she will not be able to return to the UK with you if you decide to travel outside the UK.
So best to apply now for a passport for your daughter, it will save you a lot of headaches.
I too can support the need nowadays for a separate passport. If your embassy tries to prevent you, just tell them the baby needs traveling separately with Dad sometimes with Mom.asimzia wrote:Yes i agreed, absolutely right, Thanks for your support and help, i think this will be the right thing to have separate passport for the baby.
It will save money and on the other sides much mroe headaches.
Thanks for your support friends.
Do pray for me, hope things will be all rite.
