I applied for HSMP in December 2006 with my current student status expiring in January 2007. The HSMP consideration took so long that I was forced to apply for a Further Leave to Remain whilst the HSMP was still being considered. I got a refusal for HSMP a few days after I had submitted FLR and just before 31 January when my my current status expired. However I applied FLR before the expiry. I appealed the decision for my HSMP but they turned it down saying I had not provided proof for tax returns despite informing them that I was a United Nations staff and in my Country staff off all diplomatic missions are not taxed. As they refused my HSMP appeal my FLR was still with them up until now they have returned my passport with no extension and they are saying that we have refused your FLR because your HSMP was refused. They continue to say, give us reasons why you still need to be in the UK. They however dont say where and to who I should send these reasons. The other thing is my wife is also here but as a dependant to my VISA but however her VISA is up to October 2008. Please help
