Im from non-eu country, have lived in UK for 7 years and Im dependant on my husbands student visa,but can work a full-time.I have a secondary and a high education,but when first came to Uk,I started work as a waitress,then as a Spam assistant which was complitely different from what I studied.It has been a few years since then and Im a Spam manager now.The company Im working for is quite happy to keep me,so I was thinking of trying to apply for the work permit visa,but not sure if I can do it as a dependant.And another thing is that my present profession is not that important for uk+I dont have a special education to be a chef,only 6.5 years experience.(I hope it counts!)I would appriciate your help or advise!Thanks.Hanna
