UK Employement on workpermit & Travel to EU cuntries

Hi, I am Indian passport holder & have recently taken employement in UK. I am working on project in Germany which will continue upto 10 months. I would be travelling to Germany on business visa.

I want my wife to join with me there in Germany for entire duration. Which visa I should apply for her?

I'm imagine Schengen visa via the German embassy and good luck with that!

I already have business visa. As my wife is sole dependent on me what type visa should I apply for her? Would it be visitor or I should apply for business visa for dependent?

Where should I apply it? UK? or India?
