Schegen Visa Fee for children

Hi,

My daughter is 3.5 years old and we are planning to apply for Schengen Visa. Do we need to pay for Visa Fees for the child also ? Any idea on this ? We are applying from London.

You give no detail at all of your immigration status, so I need to reply thus :-

If the child is a family member of an EEA Citizen then the Schengen visa will be free, otherwise the visa will need to be paid for.

What's ur nationality and what visa/permit are in in UK on? AIUI only spouses/family members of EU citizens get free Schengen visas and only then when travelling with the EU citizen.

I'm often wrong tho - I'd like to see a definative answer to this question too!

Sorry for the incomplete info.

I am an Indian with a work permit visa and is valid till Jan 2008. My family is work permit dependent status.

In view of that there is no Schengen fee exemption for your child.

Hi,
I have almost same question. Need to pass by Finland to pick up Estonian visa for my kids. 2 of them has egyptian nationality and 1 estonian. In this case what are the fees for schengen visa?
I have alien's passport issued in Estonia with constant living permission there.

Is your "Estonian" child an Estonian citizen, or a holder of an alien's passport?

If you are travelling with your EU citizen minor child, then you should be issued a visa at no charge. The visas for minor siblings travelling together with the EU citizen should likewise be issued for free. (The Finish embassy may or may not be familiar with the situation, but comes from Directive 2004/38/EC which has been implemented across the EU).

What is the exact name of the "living permission" you have from Estonia? It could be you do not require a Schengen visa.

travellers: mother ( permanent living permission from estonia),
child 9 years old EU citizen, 2 children not EU citizens ( and without living permission from estonia)
