Post by meer_iet » Thu Apr 12, 2007 6:08 pm

Hello friends,

i have a consolidated bank statement for last 1 year from ABN-Amro bank by a dot-matrix printer .The statement is in black and white with ABN-Amro logo and contact details on it.Each page is stamped and signed by branch manager(with name and designation).

do you think it is sufficient to be considered as valid.
thanks to guide me,

There's nothing wrong with getting bank stts printed-out on a dot matrix printer. I got it that way and had no problems. The only thing is to make sure it has the bank's logo displayed as a watermark or as a header/footer on the stt along with bank authorities' stamp and signature.

Also, if your salary entry states the name of your company, then you are all set.

But, if it just says 'salary' or something like that, then make sure you specify in the covering letter about your bank account number matching your bank account number on your pay slip. (Get a letter from your employer too, if possible.)
