My visa expires in 10 months and im pregnant

Post by scootnfast » Wed Apr 18, 2007 9:36 pm

Hey,

My girlfriend is 17 and her visa expired in 10 months (shes on her parents visa as a dependant) Ive found out she is pregnant what can we do? If the baby is born in this country will she still have to apply for a visa or can she stay in this country without applying?

Also, would we be able to get married in scotland (as you only have to be 16 up there) if she uses her mums passport with her name on it? Then will she be able to stay in this country then?

Please help with both,

many Thanks

And you wonder why her mother won't allow you to see her....

You'll need to answer the following;
1. Where are her parents from, and how long have they been here?
2. Any plans on them staying longer?
3. When is the baby due?
4. What are your details? (Age, occupation, nationality)?

A few things...

She is too young to apply for a spouse visa, so that's out of the question. If you are also under 18, then you can't sponsor her anyway. You need to tell us what you are doing, you were asked before but dodged the question...that is not helping you in getting the answers you need.
