Hi All,
I'm really hoping someone will be able to provide advise on what to do in our circumstance.
Situation: I am getting married to my fiance in India in July. I presently work in London, and am renting a flat in shared accomadation here with 2 other guys. Each of us has an individual room in a 3 bedroom flat. My parents own a house in Scotland, to which they are happy to sign a declaration to say they are happy for me and my wife to live there as long as we wish, free of cost, and will have exclusive access to a double bedroom and access to the other facilities in the house. Situation is though i work in London, but i would like to use our home address in Scotland as the primary accomadation. Perhaps with a declaration from myself to say that we will purchase / rent a place of our own after my wife arrives.
Question: Would i be able to use my parents Scotland address as my main permanent address? In addition to this, all my payslips, bank statements, bills etc have always gone to that address. Or will i need to move out now, find a property of my own (ie rent) in London to meet the accomdation criteria. and use that as the accomadation.
Please advise.
