Gross sal figure is greater net taxable income

Post by pam_aujla » Mon Apr 23, 2007 5:45 pm

hi folks

i have question regarding earning calculation...I know there may be some earlier posts on same topic..but it looked lil confusing again and again...

Senior members/moderator plz help...

Net taxable income shown on ITR is lower then actual gross salary earned.

Net taxable income = Actual gross salary - HRA - transport allowance - Medical

To claim gross figure, I have 12 salary slips, emp letter, bank statements.

Do I need to do anything else? Do they understand the Indian Tax system?

Gross figure can help me claim required 20 points...plz help

Regards,
Pam
