Post by FoZi » Tue Jun 18, 2013 9:29 pm

Hi there guys

well i have a question i'm maybe you can help. I have a friend that came to Portugal to do a language course but now his visa is just expired. He had some money problems and he stayed more than he should and now the visa is expired for more than one month.

He just want to go back to his country but without any visa problems. Is there any tip u guys can give ?

Thanks in advance

It is always best to comply with the terms of a visa to avoid future problems. Once visa terms are breached, it may cause problems with future applications. I suspect that it would be better to leave voluntarily than be deported.

Yes you're right. But the point is he wants to leave voluntary in August but at this time the Visa will be expired for like more than 3 months. Can this be a problem when leaving ?

Thanks again

The longer they leave the problem, the worse things may become.
