Timeline

Hello dear all,

Could you please give me a timeline from your experience?

I have PSW visa and contracting. My wife [on PSW dependent] works for a start-up IT consultancy [<10 employees] as a Software analyst. Initially our plan was to apply for Tier 1 Entrep and she as dependent and in country switching but after few long meetings the start-up company has agreed to sponsor her. Now I know they have to do RMLT because [she studied her MSc in Univ. of Greenwich] she is PSW dependent. I have few questions

1. The company is applying for Tier 2 sponsorship, in General category [restricted CoS category] tomorrow. How long it may take to make the decision by UKBA? UKBA provides a rather vague statement that they solve 65% cases in 4 weeks. The company appointed lawyear says couple of months. Any real life ideas will be appreciated on this timeline.
Our visa ends in December.
2. Can the company do the RMLT and apply for sponsor license at the same time? for RMLT, the company needs to advertise for 28 days, as I understand.
3. Even after getting a sponsorship, assigning a restricted CoS, UKBA can deny a visa, is that correct?

Thanks for your time and we appreciate your offerings.
God bless
Andy

my personal advise will be that u start preparing for the enterprnr visa, start maintaining a bank statement.
According to what i think, they can do the RLMT and apply for licence at the same time .. and in the application, they can mention that they need at least 1 restricted COS to start with.
once the licence is issued (takes between 3-6 months), if u are lucky the licnce will be issued with 1 R-COS.. if not, then company will have to apply for restricted COS, deicsions of which are made on the next 11th date of each month.
all in all, if she has maintained the funds, ie 900 +600 for u, and is on the correct code, then she will be given the visa.. no doubt about that..
but since there is a chance that all can b done on time, i will suggest u keep the 50k ready just in case if u have to apply on enterprenr visa..
also, she will have to apply for her own country and not from uk
