2. Does my organization need to transer me to the India Branch for me to apply for long term OR I can/should coninue to be on the payroll of the UK branch of the organization?

Funny (?) story. The application center for Mexico is at Colombia. You send your docs through UK Embassy at Mexico City. It's suppose to take 4 days from Mexico to Colombia.

My decision was taken on april 24. I received the following email:
Your answer to your visa application for the United Kingdom is ready. Your passport will be sent to the British Embassy in Mexico today. As soon as it is received in Mexico, you will be sent an email which you should print and present when you go to pick up the response.

So, my passport should arrived around april 30. But as you can see I got it today...but not without a little effort. Last week I sand an email (worldbridgeservice.com) let them know that something in their system has fail. So, they begin a investigation and it turns out that my docs was in Mexico since april 29. But someone here misplaced them....

Hope this story could help some one that might be in the same situation. Always ask if the frame times are not the one promised.

Today is the 16th working day. The tracking portal states it as "under process"; dropped a mail to the Chennai embassy office to get a reply stating that -
application is in the process of being assessed

Strange enough, both me and my husband have traveled multiple times to UK but on Tier-2 ICT and once I have traveled on Tier-2 ICT dependant. This is the first time that we have applied under Tier-2 General. It has never before taken so long. We are worried now!
