Hi All,
Just a quick question really, my fiance was in the U.K from April 2005-February 2007 during which time we met and subsequently got engaged. As I said she went home in February, we will be getting married here, is she allowed to come back on a visit visa for marriage?

Her appointment is this Tuesday!!

thanks in advance

She can apply for the 'Marriage Visitor Visa' if she convincingly meets all the requirements for it. Is she planning on going back home after she gets married?

Excellent was a bit worried about that one, we'll be going back to her country to have her put on my ancestry visa as a dependant after the wedding, we have all the documents necesary for both a visit visa and to show that we'll get married.

cheers

Mateo, she does need to ensure that it is a Marriage Visitor Visa she obtains. On an ordinary visitor visa she would not be permitted to get married in the UK.
