So a tip for you guys, if you have been waiting for more than 6 months, don't bother calling. Just send a complaint with all your details by fax and also by Email to their complaint email address. They take complaint seriously from what i gathered.

I contacted the UKBA under the Freedom of Information Act and asked them about the date of the currently processed application and they replied on 5th July 2013:

"At present for those applications dated before the 1 January 2013, we are processing those made in August 2012. For applications made after 1 January, we are dealing with those made in February 2013."

I applied on 15th December and it seems that I have to wait for another 5 months!!

My friends received CTD today. They applied 2 of March. So, they was waiting 5 month.

hello guys
to be quite honest
i think its based on individual cases and their circumstances

some applications might need further review
some might not need indepth review at all

but those who are recieving CTD , some early and some extremely late, i think its because of that.

Anyway all chin up and hope fasting for all of you is going good Alhamdulillah

my 1st TD came in 2 months exact, hoping the renewal will too, so gonna wait till 12-15 of august and hoping In Sha Allah i receive my CTD
really hoping to travel soon

please if you guys have any updates, let us know, because in a way it gives us a little hope

Sorry I meant September 2012 and March 2013. See my comment above to know what I mean. last month they told me that they are processing applications submitted in August 2012 and February 2013

I applied in December 2012 so it'll be a while before i get it. Keep us updated on the status of your application, if they were processing August application last month then yours should be very soon (hopefully)

I was granted the first TD in 2008 within 3 week but the renewal one is more then 5 month taking and still waiting I don`t know what can I do in first of June this year our MP Call the home office to get information about processing. The lady from immigration department says we are processing the Feb 2013 application should your client receive in the next 15 to 20 days but even after 68 days nothing heard anything and just hopping.

I know, My friends(couple), They are received in 3 weeks around 1 year ago. They just complete application in solicitor and solicitor sent applications to HM

we are at the same boat, my friend, I called them, but mine is the 1st CTD, we should wait for 6 month, then write a complain letter, then they will just do what are supposed to do.

a question is if some body lose their document like their visa ,cos last year i lost my visa so do u think that is fault to got my TD for whole the a year ? if some body know about that please tell me how can solve it ? but i didnt have problem with my visa cos after a month a got a new one .

Which courier would i expect to deliver my CTD? Royal Mail or DX? I know i will need to sign for it, but not sure who gonna deliver.

so my experience have going to critical situation which i have seen to get TD and quite weary about that , so i dont know which some body else waiting in the same time for 11 month and 10 days ?
