Hi, i'd like to have some informations about Uk tourist visa.
In the application form there is the following question: "How much money is available to you for your stay?".
I think i have to show my savings on my bank account: right?
How much money should i show?
Is there a minimum amount to show?
Can i show my father's incomes, too?

If you show your father's then he has to write a letter stating that he will support your stay while you get on your feet and how you will have access to his monies

But i read that the amount of money is strictly important in visa process and i know that a lot of peaple had visa refusal because of this question...

I have another question related to tourist visa and i hope you can help me.
I work as professional and i have, of course, my own savings and my bank account.
By the way, in this days my father is transfering some money on my bank account because of my journey in UK. I'm ok with this situation because i can feel very confortable to have my 14 days journey in UK but, nowadays i'm confused, because one of my friend told me that, doing like this, i'm going to have a tourist visa refusal.
My friend told me that the embassy officers are usually very suspicious when they see transfering of money on bank account.
Is it like this? Should i ask my father to not give me the money?
Please give some advices, because now i'm very confused.
