Hello. My apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere.
When one goes to apply for citizenship, based upon holding ILR for one year, what do you need to prove were your activities during that one year? That is do you need to prove you were employed, economically active, had a flat, paid utilities, etc?
I will be applying for ILR soon based upon 5 years' residency with a Work Permit and then HSMP, but want to go travelling soon after ILR (for about 6 months). During that time I'll obviously have no income nor utility bills, etc.
Once returning to the UK from travelling I want to be able to apply for citizenship right at the ILR + 1 year mark. All I can seem to find with regard to requirements for citizenship is that you've held ILR for 1 year - but is there more?
Thanks.
