I'm hoping to go home for a wedding the first week of Oct and haven't purchased tickets yets because I'm nervous about how long this is taking. I rang this morning and it sounded as if she was reading a script: we advise you make no travel plans for 6 months, your application is incomplete, we will contact you if we need any additional information. You need to wait for a letter for approval etc.
She did tell me they were currently working on applications whose biometrics were enrolled the week of 14 July, since I'm the following week unsure how long mine will take.
