Dependent VISA not married but staying together

Hi,

Me and my friend are from Bombay, India. We have been staying together since 3 years and are in UK since last year.

My friend is on a work permit like myself and she would like to get dependent visa stamped based on my work permit. We both have Finite Leave to Remain in UK till April 2012.

We have the following documents to prove that we are staying together.
1. bank statements
2. tenency agreements and
3. IT returns filed in India on the same addess

Wanted to know if it is possible to get my friend a dependent Visa. If yes what are the documents needed for doing so in Bombay, India.
