Secondment Opportunity

Post by touchsensor » Fri May 25, 2007 8:15 pm

I have a work permit and want to go on a secondment to another place for 6 months. Technically I am still employee of the organisation and secondment is incentives of my workplace. Could you advice whether this is legal in work permit context please?

Thanks.

Kind regards,
T

Are you the partner of ozzipper?
Secondment is not against the rules, you have to watch how much time you are out of the country

Secondment

Post by touchsensor » Sat May 26, 2007 9:56 pm

Basically, I am going to work in parent organisation for 12 months to enhance my skills and experience. The place of work won't be the same but technically I am still my employer's employee.....I read that any changes should be notified but also it mentions that any job related issues follows the organisations policies....My organisation supports secondments therefore which will over-rule in my case?

I am not ozziffer's partner....sorry.

Thanks.

I don't know if this would be within bounds of the rule
why dont you call them up and ask what they think
