European Marriage Interview

Has anyone been through a marriage immigration interview in Europe?
I am curious how it differs from the American ones. I have heard that U.S. immigration officials will ask very in depth questions to try to weed out the fake marriages, but I don't know about Europe. How much different are the two?

As there are several countries in Europe there isn't one standard interview/application process so it'll vary between countries.
