Tier 2 ICT LTS apply after Oct-2013

Hello Experts,

I remember the duration for ICT LTS was 2 years and salary slab was above 40K in Dec 2011 (Job category/Type 2132 ).

I am in the process of applying Tier 2 ICT LTS for my colleague who is being sponsored a work permit to the UK for the first time.

For some reason i don't see the Job category/Type 2132 anymore , the closest i could find was 2136 but the salary slab is not the same as 2132.

Has the salary slab and duration for a Tier 2 ICT LTS changed for people applying after Oct -2013?

SOC code 2132 has been replaced by codes 2135, 2136 and 2139:

For T2 ICT LTS the min salary is now £40,600 or the minium stated for the particular SOC code, whichever the higher

Salary: £ 41,600
SOC: 2136


In the process of extending ICT Tier 2 to 3 years which will be the max duration for leave under this visa category.

Question for Next Visa Renewal / extension: Will the salary slab still have to be above 40K for extension?

As per the latest Codes of Practice for Skilled Worker document i can see that the salary has lowered for SOC 2136? (Page 53 of below link)

In the process of extending ICT Tier 2 to 3 years which will be the max duration for leave under this visa category. max 5 years unless your salary will be increased to £152,100 or more in which case it will be max 9 years

Question for Next Visa Renewal / extension: Will the salary slab still have to be above 40K for extension? yes, £40,600 or more

As per the latest Codes of Practice for Skilled Worker document i can see that the salary has lowered for SOC 2136? (Page 53 of below link) as T2 ICT LTS with initial leave after Apr 2011 you still need min £40,600 salary when extending
