Return of passport not requested for. Please advice.

I applied under Zambrano but my application was refused. I got married this year to my husband who is now an EEA national and we have a child together in 2008 but then he hasn't got his Irish passport then and thus the child was registered as a nigerian. I applied for myself and my son as the family member of an EEA national in August. I included my husband Irish passport and my sons nigerian passport because mine as being retained by the ukba when I applied under Zambrano. I requested my husbands passport back last week, I got it today but my sons passport was returned as well without a resident card. I didn't request for his passport but they sent it back. I'm confused now I don't know what to do.please I need advice my dear forum members.

The HO probably made a mistake and thought you asked for both passports. In any case it has no affect on the application.

Thanks Jambo. Do you reckon I resend the passport or I should just leave it.

Don't send it unless the HO writes to you asking for it. In most cases, when they don't have the passort, they just issue the RC on a standalone A4 page.
