UK Visitor Visa 2nd time-PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

Post by beauty85 » Thu Nov 21, 2013 1:02 pm

Hi, My name is Olga. I'm from Ukraine. I have applied to the UK Border Agency twice. I was granted Guest Visa and Fiance Visa. My partner is the citizen of the UK. We were going to get married but we found out that he doesn't have decree absolute. So,my Fiance visa expired and I came back to my country Ukraine. He is trying to get his absolute but the court is very slow. Can I apply for a Visitor Visa again while we are waiting for the Absolute? Are there guarantees that I will not be refused by the UK Border Agency? Thank you.

You won't get a visit visa now. It would be better to re-apply for a fiancee visa. How long does he think it will take to get the absolute? You may have been hasty in returning as it is permitted to extend a fiancee visa (rather than leave) if the final divorce is expected to be well advanced.

Hi,thank you for your answer. When I was in England we have contacted the Uk Border Agency and asked them if it was possible to extend my fiance visa. They said that I have to go back and apply again. As for the Absolute, perhaps it will take 2 or 3 months. We do not know because the court is so slow and we have been waiting for it more than half of the year already.
What are my guarantees that I can be granted a Fiance Visa again? What are my chances? Thank you.
