FLR (M) Help

Post by Yaarroo » Mon Nov 25, 2013 11:06 am

Will really appreciate your feedback.

I got married over the phone in Jan 2011, Rukhsati (reception ceremony) was done in sept 2011 when i went back to the my country. From Jan til Sept 2011 my wife was at her father house and we were only in contact over the phone and that was also very rare. My wife got her Tier 1 Dependent visa in dec 2011 and came to UK In Jan 2012.

I applied FLR (M) Sept 2013 for my wife along with my indefinite application as her visa was expiring along with me. I have provided a documentary evidence for the time she was in UK with me. Now the HO asking for documentary evidence for the time she was back home from Jan 2011 till date, as on the marriage certificate the date mentioned is Jan 2011.

I don't know what documentary evidence i can provide as my wife was at her father house during that time and we were only in contact over the phone that's also very very occasionally.

See if you can request for Itemized billing from your network provider. Alternatively if you've used apps like Skype, Viber you should be able to get some snapshots of the historic calls also try to explain why and how is it possible to marry someone over the phone. I know many might frown at this but be as clear as possible. (Because, the CW will be lookin' at your Out-leg and In-leg journey dates and will also realise that you were in the UK on the said date). So explain your culture and differentiate between Nikkah & Ruksati.
