Applying for Uk Visitor visa (for parents)

Hi all

My citizenship application has been approved and I have a citizenship (Oath) ceremony to attend on 17-Dec-13.

I'm planning to apply for visitor visa for my parents in January 2014. Is it a good idea for my parents to apply for UK Visitor visa using my current indian passport (or) do I need to apply for Bristish passport and only then apply for my parents' visitor visa?

I want my parents to be here in UK for March 12, 2014 and hence want to see when is the good time to apply for visitor visa?

1. does not mattrr, as you will probably mention your BC on the visa appli form.

2. you can ask on the form itself for the visa to be valid from a later date but not more than 3 months delay.
