Dependent on ILR (setted person)

Post by srajesh » Thu Nov 28, 2013 10:49 am

HI ,

My kids and myself got ILR visa in June 2013. My wife is on work permit and want to apply for her visa as Dependent of setted person.

I am not sure about which is correct visa category for her FLR(M) or SET(M) ?

Note : My wife was entered in UK first time in 2007 as PBS dependent but she has changed her visa to Work Permit in year 2011.

Her current visa status is work Permit tier 2 general.

Can you please advise me which application is correct for her to move from WP to dependent of setted person.

THanks

FLR(M) would appear correct, bear in mind the Financial and English requirement, the route to settlement would be 5 years. However, she may be able to apply in 2017 under long residence.
