Hi All,
One of my friend in the UK has EU residency card based on marriage to his Norwegian husband. Her husband has been living and working in the UK for 8 years.
Now, she wants to invite her parents to come to the UK as visitor but she does not know whether she should apply under Family Visitor or General Visitor.
According to the rules to apply for Family Visitor, you should intend to visit a British Citizen, Settled or Refugee family member in the UK. His husband has been living here for 8 years and so he is automatically obtained right to permanent residency. So as her parents are coming to visit their son-in-law who are permanent residents of the UK, they should apply under Family Visitor?
Actually, according to the rules there is no difference between these two categories but she wants to be sure.
Any help appreciated.
