EU Family Permit Income and Expenditure/ Sponsor questions?

Post by redridinghood » Fri Nov 29, 2013 8:59 pm

Hi

Was wondering how people have filled these sections in?

We are applying for the family permit from Germany on visa4uk/gov.uk/Worldbridge and there is a section asking for ££ saved for trip and how much it will cost?

My husband has a job lined up so he will be partially supporting me until I get a job and I have some savings so would he be my sponsor also?

Many thanks

There is no need to worry about those sections. You can just write - "EEA family permit" if you must write something to continue in the online form. This is what we did when we applied last year.

Thanks what did you write for the 'what do you intend to do in the uk' section also? And did you not fill in the part about the non eu spouses work/finances?

We filled in the 'what do you intend to do in the uk' section - "Accompany EEA national". In the work/finances section we filled in "EEA family permit".
The finances are none of UKBA business, as it is your right of free movement as an EEA national / or their family member. You do not need to prove any financial capability.
