Switching Employers Question

Hi there,

I am in this position where my Tier 2 (G) visa is not set to expire until November 2014, but I am changing employers before then. I have signed and returned my new employers contracts and they are sponsoring me. My official end date is the 3rd of January 2014, but I am going on holiday from the 27th of December and returning on the 2nd for my last day of work with my current employer, but I have visa appointment for my new visa on the 3rd to be able to start work on the 6th with my new employer.

My question is this, I am going have any issues re-entering the UK on the 2nd of January and being issued a new visa on the 3rd January at my scheduled appointment time?
