9 years on student visa........

Post by FaisalKhan100 » Sat Dec 07, 2013 12:51 am

Dear friends
I am here in UK since September 2004 on student visa and my 10 years will complete in September 2014 but my visa is rejected due to 5 years cap. Home office gave me appeal right. can you please help me what should I do to extend my appeal till the end of September 2014. There are 10 months to complete my 10 years long residency........
is any body knows, how much time first tier tribunal takes to decide an appeal. waiting your kind reply.
Best regards

I met this man personally so let me share my experience.

His appeal was dismissed by first-tier tribunal to extend leave as post study work applicant
Reasons

1. deception because his level 7 diploma was not varified
2. he did not disclose traffic offense

after first tier tribunal dismissal he applied for ILR on the basis of 10 years long residency and he was in uk for the last 9 years and 6 month by the time when he made new application.

home office took several months to decide his new application. he got ILR successfully on the new application made after First tier tribunal dismissal when his total stay reached 10 years 3 days .

you should go for appeal and pray to get a hearing date in may or june meanwhile hire a competent lawyer to apply for ILR. try to kill your time as much as u can and after first tribunal hearing if judge dismiss you appeal then you must apply for ILR as i have given an example above.
