can director be employee of the company?

Post by samaygrg » Sat Dec 07, 2013 3:08 pm

Hello all

I am sole director and shareholder of my pvt ltd company for T1 visa. I am just wondering if I can be employee ( who takes some pre-agreed flat rate pcm) from where NIC can be deducted?

I am aware that director's any salary though will not counted in the required 50K investment.

Any feedback and suggestions will be very appreciated.

Cheers

@ samaygrg,

As the director, you can take dividend from your business. Its better you discuss with your accountant if you have one.
The key to success is knowledge and hardwork, and to have faith.
