Citizenship for child born in UK

Post by call2bala » Sat Dec 07, 2013 10:44 pm

Dear Experts

Me,my spouse and 1 year old baby (born in UK) all got ILR this April 2013.

Myself and my wife will be eligible for citizenship after April 2014. My son was eligible since April 2013.

I am just wondering what will be most convenient and cost effective for citizenship application. I don't know the processing time for each route(MN1 and naturalisation)

1.Register my son for Citizenship now(MN1) and apply for passport along with us later?
or
2. all apply at same time like MN1 for child and naturalisation for adults?

Thanks.

no cost advantage except postage 6 gbp. why not get your child's now? you should, just because you can.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.
My ILR, MN1 and kids PP stories.
