eea2 to eea4

Post by max harrison » Sun Dec 08, 2013 1:21 am

seeking for help....

my girlfriend was hungarian. she was here in uk since 2002 and continuesly working for 7 years. I entered uk as student visa last 2004 . Im a filipino citizen.

i met my gf way back 2005 and decided to live togther in 2007. Before my student visa expire we decided to apply as unmarried visa under eea2 last march 2009 and it was granted valid for 5 years.

Since my eea2 was approved my girlfriend didnt work anymore. She just stayed in the hourse. While i was the on who is continously working up to now. We didnt apply for any benefits of the uk government.

Would my application for my EEA4 will affect as my girlfriend is not working ?

Please need help...

it all depend

You said she was working continuously from 2002. Can you tell us bit more about her work from 2002 - 2004 ( that is before her country joined EU ). Hungarian nationals could only work in UK on work permits prior to May 2004.

obie if an A8 national worked legally ( work permit holder for example before 2004 ) i don't think they need to register for WRS too

Well he has not said she's was lawfully working, he said continuously working.

In the absence of an indication that work undertaken was lawful, one cannot say much.

sorry for the mistake...

my girlfriend said between 2002 to 2004 she was just visiting the uk...
Then in 2004 up to 2009 she worked as a carer in a carehome. She just work continiously 5 years lawfully in one carehome.

i received my EEA2 march 2009 and my girlfriend stop working june 2009.
I continiously working in one nursing home since i got my eea2 up to now.
