OCI status reverted

Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help me out here...panic has started to kick in.

I applied for my OCI on the 22th October 2013 in person for my wife, daughter and I. The Date of Acknowledgement was logged as 24th October 2013.

In the last 6 weeks, up until this morning, the status was as follows:

Document Printing Status: PROCESSED on 22 Nov 2013

I had been issued an OCI number too, but the docs had not been dispatched from MOIA.

As of this morning, the status has gone back to "UNDER-PROCESS" and the OCI number has been removed.

has anyone seen this in the past? I am really starting to worry, as I fly out on the 30th Dec, and the OCI had not been dispatched for over 2 weeks. Now it seems I don't even have an OCI.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Apply for Indian Visa. Don't bank on OCI.
