Bringing wife to UK from India

Post by Deejo89 » Mon Dec 09, 2013 8:53 pm

Hi,

I am new to this forum, if I have incorrectly posted an existing question do direct me. Thanks!

I have been in UK for last 5 years under Tier-2 (ICT) and eligible for UK ILR from 12th Jan 2014.

I had registered my marriage on 4th Apr 2012 in India. Informed my change in relationship status as "married" to UKBA using Migrant Change of Circumstances form and they replied that "updated and returned my marriage certificate".

My wife holds a post graduate degree and its a love marriage which is now accepted by both parents and we are planning for the actual marriage ceremony in the month of May 2014.

My query is if I apply for my ILR now and then apply for a dependent visa for my wife after May'2014 once we get all marriage photos, will there be any other issues for her visa?

Please share your views on what I must be aware of.

Thanks
