hey everyone

just a quick question

can i use saving certificates of my father from bank alflah pakistan as my maintenance

No. Cash money held in a bank account for 28 days. He can liquidate them and wait a month if that helps.

But make sure he does not have to wait a month to liquidate as that is common with saving certs and would delay you even further.

Sure u can use these certificates but u need one affidavit and birth certificate .... I also used these certificates to getting university visa which is granted now

Para 177 determines that money must be held by a bank in a savings or current account. So what do you actually mean when you say savings certificates? Is that a bank account or some other type of financial instrument? Saving certs in normal circumstances are not money in a bank account.

Plz check financial institutions in pakistan in home office site there will be mentioned national savings these are only certificates not money and I already use these one
