Hi All,
Thanks a lot for all the information. My visa application for Tier 2 General Dependant was submitted on 29th Nov alongwith that of my wife (main applicant) and child.
I received an update email from UKBA today that says
**
Dear Applicant,
Your UK Visa application has now been processed and a decision has been made.
Your passport and documents will be dispatched from the Mumbai office and will be returned to you via VFS
**
I have a couple of questions.
1. What does "a decision has been made" usually mean? Is it a good indication of approval or refusal? I understand that due to protection of user data, they cannot disclose the result of the application in the email. However, if anyone has had this email, can you please share if it was good news or bad at the end?
2. How much time does it take for VFS to get the passport and documents to you from Mumbai to Pune? Sorry but this is an India specific questions and looking at how horrendous the usual courier services are, I am a bit anxious.
Thanks a lot to all of you who responded to my queries, especially Manci for providing your inputs and guidance through the application process. I will definitely update the status once I get the documents and the outcome of my applications.
