Decision received. Got refused. Please help

Post by Sonye » Tue Dec 10, 2013 9:01 am

Hello,

I just got my refusal letter yesterday. The reason for my refusal was that the 3rd party sponsor did not provide a letter from the bank to confirm that I had access to the funds. My third party sponsor had the money in barclays bank. they will never provide a letter like that. the only letter they were willing to provide was a certificate of balance which just had the same information that can be seen on the bank statement. So i just provided the bank statement, stamped and signed.
I've been given a right to appeal. Please does anyone have any advice for me? anyone going through the same refusal reasons and have appealed?

right,

the advice to deal with said objection is to have money transferred into your personal account.

the letter Border Agency requires can not be produced or arranged, now a days judges more focusing on other possibilities that an appellant could have gone for, as alternative to this is third party should, or should have transferred money into appellant account.

thanks,

That was the obvious option at the time but the third party sponsor refused to do this. I spoke to a lawyer about it and she said there is a new law that on appeal, no new documents should be provided. So I cannot provide a new personal bank statement if I had the chance. But now I'm thinking if I reapply, what are the chances that they will not find another reason to refuse me? As this is the only reason, I don't know if it is safer to go for an appeal as it it impossible to provide the letter.
I'm just so confused
