Hi
Im British citizen and my wife and 3years old son on spouse visa.They been in th uk about 15Months and since they here I been claiming CHILD TAX CRDITE WORKING TAX CREDIT AND CHILD and im working 24Hours a week and my wife does not work.On the claim award letter my name and wife name and son name are mention.My question is claming CTC and WTC will effect on wife ILR

This is basic question and moderator amber has advised many members for this type of similar questions.


you will be ok, tax credits on joint name and child benefit on your name.

because tax credits has to be claimed jointly if you live with partner. and this wont affect future application.
