contract company adress

I got contract with a company registeted on residential adress.

Some of my friend suggested ,that company which you got contract must have official adress

Can any one tell me please ,whither I have to get another contract from a comapant which have offical adress or it would be ok to get contract with a company which is registered on residential adress.

Its IT and telecom services company,Mainly IT company.

@ msaleemu, it actually depend on your own service also to such company, but I think you should be ok with the contract agreement because there are lot of services that could be done from residential addresses like IT contracting.

Let me give an example, if you are a Website designer and you work from home, then you got a contract to design, build and maintain a personal website for a wealthy individual whose residential address will be on the contract agreement. This type of contract is legitimate and ok and I hope that you can analyse your own service to such company to determine if its ok for you.
