Help! T1 E rejected, can I switch to T2 G in the UK?

Hello! I applied for tier 1 entrepreneur Nov 2012, got refused in May 2013, appealed in Nov 2013 and received dismiss decision last week. I was gonna apply for tier 2 general outside of UK, but the company wants to sponsor me said I can make application in the UK with 28 days after my appeal was dismissed.

Is that correct? Can I do that? I don’t want to take any risk, please do help me! Many thanks!

the company is correct, up to 28 days overstaying is disregarded. You can apply for T2G within 28 days of the dismissal of your appeal if you were previously in a category that allows switching to T2G, e.g. T1 PSW.
