Quick question: why do more asylum seekers come to UK ?

Post by askmeplz82 » Fri Dec 13, 2013 8:38 pm

Isn't that the law " asylum seekers MUST apply in the first EU country they enter. They cannot pick and choose which country they want and the EU countries cannot say 'you can wait here before you go to the UK'

but why do majority wait to enter UK after arriving in Greece, France or even Italy
UK Student Visa : 04/2004 - 09/2009
EEA Residence Card : 07/2010 - 7/2015
EU Settled Status: Confirmed on 16th July 2019
Naturalisation : Confirmed on 02nd Oct 2020
Passport Approval : 21st Feb 2021
