Passport renewal for ILR

Hi,

I am going to apply for my ILR (5 years on T1G) in July 2014 and my passport is expiring in March 2014. Can I apply ILR without renewing my passport?? By the way I am a Pakistani passport holder. I would appreciate your help in this regards.
