Child Benefit - Payment

I've recently applied for child benefit. They have checked the documents and send them back to me last week. They didn't mention anything about the payment. I received my ILR 2 months back and I assume they pay from the day I received my ILR.
When will the start pay normally? Will I get any letters regarding it?
