hi i am looking for some information and help here. i am an irish national and i want to bring my non eu parents to ireland on permanent basis.please help me to provide me the information what i need to do for this purpose. I am an full time employee and paying tax.what forms i need and documents. some one 1 on this forum have passed through this process or passing through the same process please help. waiting answers.thanks.

You can apply for a visa for them, if they require a visa.

The process is that you need to show that they are dependent on you. Financial dependency is not sufficient, you need to show that they have health problems and require old age care. It would also be good if you could show that they cannot purchase old age care in their home country.

Many people find that in order to do this they need to move to another EU country. Some people are here in Ireland at present, having moved from the UK where they are citizens and were working. The reason for the move is that if you move you become a migrant worker and EU (not Irish) law gives a migrant worker the right to bring family members to the country where they work.
