Revoked Sponsorship Licence and UKBA Audit Process

Post by hasti_kh » Sun Dec 15, 2013 10:24 pm

The company I have been working with for the past 1,5 year had their sponsorship being licence revoked by the UKBA. Allegedly, the company had gone through administration and it is been operating under a different name since August 2012 . They have carried on using their old licence to issue work permit for their employees without informing the UKBA about the change in company's structure.

They are going to submit an application to obtain a new licence. However, they have to undertake a mock audit followed by another audit with the UKBA first. Does anyone know about the time-frame for this process?

My current Post Study Work permit will run out in 20 March 2014, and my company should have their licence sorted before that.

Usually takes around 2 months to sort this whole thing out (IF they get their licence back).
